center shares lessons in preparation, stories of heroism in the aftermath of “Hurricane
Harvey”
As
Hurricane Harvey pummeled Houston and the surrounding area with a record
rainfall, one of the world’s foremost cancer centers continued to safely
deliver care to more than 500 patients in the hospital. While the streets
around it filled with water and local businesses experienced extreme damage
during this storm, the faculty and staff of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer
Center kept
the patients safe and the institution free of major flooding. Read more
