Only half of adolescent girls receive HPV vaccine at recommended age



 Researchers from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston indicate that only about half of the girls receive the HPV vaccine when they are 11-12/. Additional efforts are needed to increase HPV vaccine uptake among adolescent girls as only half of them receive this vaccine at ACIP recommended age.
